It never ceases to amaze me at the never ending stream of new social media that’s being developed and implemented for use in for business and for social interaction on this great blue marble we call planet earth. And as each new platform arrives the planet get smaller and smaller. We find friends in parts of the world we’ve never seen and virtually visit the four corners of the world through the magic of social media , computers and smart phones. But hold on to your hats my friends because you ain’t seen nothing yet! A few weeks ago I was introduced to the newest of these amazing social media tools, blab. After my first session (that lasted 3 hours) I had drunk the kool aid and was telling everyone that was standing still long enough about this amazing new platform. Honestly I haven’t been this excited about social media since finding Google+ 4 years ago. If you haven’t heard about blab it’s a livestreaming platform that enables a public video chat among four participants at a time. It combines some of the best features of Periscope, Meerkat and Google Hangouts. Viewers come in to watch the livestream and they can leave comments that all of the participants can see on the right hand side of the screen and easily reply to live or in the comments.
